First Game...First Win!

Well the Atom AE Thunder started off the new season in the right way, with a 5-2 victory over Ingersoll. The game featured strong defensive play lead by Kyle Barton and Kyle Hodge. The firepower came from Tyler Zatylny with a hat trick and singles from Spencer Stewart and Jeffrey Armstrong. The assists went to Kyle Barton (2), Jeffrey Armstrong (2), Craig Stefureak (2), Cody French (1) and Riley Richards (1). Ryan Smith didn't have much work but made the saves when needed. The Thunder played a team game right from the start and put plenty of rubber on the opposing goalie. Next up for the Thunder is Burford, this Sunday afternoon at 3pm. If this was a glimpse of the team we are going to see this year then it should be a whole lot of fun watching this group grow!
