The Thunder struck in Burford!

Well two games and two wins. The Caledonia Atom AE team rolled into Burford for an afternoon game and after a slow first period the Thunder cranked it up to win 6-3. Jeffery Armstrong started the scoring with a nice goal that was assisted by Craig Stefureak. Kyle Barton showed how Caledonia can throw some thunderous body checks and then the rest of the team got into the act. This game was another excellent example of Caledonia's solid defence. The Atom AE defence core consists of Kyle Hodge, Kyle Barton, Brock Brownell, Riley Richards, Sam Bleakney and Zachary Dehaan. Riley Gray had his first two goals of the season in Dave Andreychuk fashion as he banged home the rebounds. Spencer Stewart scored and Tyler Zatylny showed more flash as he pumped 2 past the Burford keeper. Assists came from Kyle Barton (2), Jeffrey Armstrong (1), Zachary Dehaan (1), Spencer Stewart (1) and Riley Richards (1). Joshua Roloson recorded his first win of the season with a strong game in net.
Next up for the Thunder is New Hamburg on Wednesday @ 6pm at the HCCC.
