Well the Mount Brydges Tournament started out well for the Caledonia Atom AE's with a 7-0 win over Dundas but the following two games were tight physical matches that saw the Thunder on the losing end of both. Caledonia lost to Flamborough 2-1 and to Wallaceburg 1-0. Tough day for the kids as they were visibly drained by the end. I think the players learned a little about what it takes to be good every game and that consistency is a key ingredient. Well no time to rest for the Thunder as Tillsonburg rolls into town Wednesday and then Caledonia is off to Paris on Friday.
Remember we all think you can be a great team and you think you're great players, but you have to go out and prove it on the ice every practice, every game and every shift and that's how you show everyone that you are great players, playing together as a great TEAM.
We win as a TEAM and lose as a TEAM.
